If you are still on gravity feed, get rid of it and go back to the stock pump. No need to add another variable.

When the carb is right-side-up, and the bowl is removed, you should be able to blow freely through the fuel inlet. I usually attach a piece of hose to the fitting and blow through it.
With the carb turned upside-down, you shouldn't be able to blow through the inlet at all. The float should be set low enough so the bowl can't completely fill with fuel.

Ok, gotcha. I will reset it tomorrow and hook the fuel pump back up.

Adjusted the float and still no luck. I hooked the fuel pump back up and the engine would not hit at all, so I decided to load it up and take it to a repair shop. Hopefully I get some good news before long! Thanks for all the help Marathon I appreciate it.
