Broken Bolt in spline shaft for driven clutch
Hey everyone, hoping you can help me. I have a 1996 ez go, I have a broken bolt in the spline shaft for the driven clutch, I tried to drill it and use a easy out, problem is now the **** easy out broke off in the shaft now. I can't drill that out now because it's hardened steel. So now I have no idea what to do, I hoping for suggestions from you all. Possible ways to fix this problem or even if it is possible to buy a new shaft? Please help.
Thanks Slem |

Re: Broken Bolt in spline shaft for driven clutch
Sometimes a pneumatic rivet gun with a soft piece of aluminum, or brass will dislodge the broken easy out.
Another option would be a high speed Dremel tool with carbide rotary cutters. |
