Default 2013 ezgo txt which carb

hi all, new to the site, I have a 2013 ezgo txt with the kawasaki engine
fj400 series, due to my stupidity i left fuel in the car and it sat up all winter, needles to say it wouldnt start, i took off the carb, cleaned it, and it runs but very sporatic, im planning on purchasing a new carb, looked on the ezgo site and it states a # 60794 for $319, my question is this is this the same
as a kawasaki 15004-7014? that carb sells for around 160, i called kawasaki and they said that i should have a 15004-7015, im not sure what the difference is??? I then called ezgo and tech support said that they modify the carb from kawasaki by removing the idle jet etc since the cart is a push to start...
does anyone know what the difference is between the kawasaki 15004-7014 and the 7015? and will that work on my ezgo?? its alot cheaper!!!
any help from the experts on here would be greatly appreciated
thanks

I don't know the answer to your question but...
Just because there was old gas that sat in the carb, that doesn't mean you need a new one. Take it apart and clean it out real good or take the carb to someone who can rebuild it. I would also install a new spark plug and be sure that all of the old gas is out of the tank and fuel line as well.
