If the sheave is not rigid then the cvt can't work properly. The exhaust stack breaking can be caused by broken motor mounts which are allowing too much vibration to Crack it.

Yep....Thanks! I need a new sheave and that should improve low end torque and you hit the nail on the head with the exhaust. After I got all the broken parts together I saw that the motor mounts were previously broken all but an inch or so....the vibration took the last inch of good metal apart.

The exhaust is fixed but I really need a new sheave for the driven clutch.

Update!

Exhaust problem is fixed.....still loud but I guess it;s the nature of the beast.

I took the driven clutch off and it all works perfectly but the front sheave is really thin and flimsy.

Does anyone have a driven clutch or even parts of a driven clutch? All I need is the front sheave.
