Default ebay carb

so i found a few carbs on ebay and debating on which one i want to get
right now my main jet is crap and the air mixture adjustment is missing
biggest issue is i have my muffler gutted which from what i have read needs a bigger carb
wouldnt mind trying out the vb24 except that would require a lot of modifying
how ever i can find these cheap carbs on ebay for 18-19 dollars
(not sure which one to try if anyone has tried one yet) i really dont use this cart much since its winter and i take my son to daycare so not really feasible to use
summer time i use it alot
anyways two options are

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Carburetor-E...9WA~tA&vxp=mtr

and the other is

http://www.ebay.com/itm/EZGO-Golf-Ca...lWSuXd&vxp=mtr

thinking about doing the $19 one just cause i might get it a little sooner
i know dont need to remind me i get what i pay for
all else fails i might be able to just swap parts out onto my factory carb

I bought a cheapo carb on ebay. Bolted it on, never adjusted a thing, and it works great! It is a little hard to start when cold (below 30 degrees, and I have started it as cold as single digit weather!) but after it starts and warms up (need to run with choke on for 3 or 4 minutes) it runs and starts fine. It runs fine while on choke too. I use it for plowing snow, so I only use mine in cold weather. Go for it. I just wish I had gotten a larger carb. I got the one for my 87, and I hear the 88 is larger. My cart will only hit 15 mph, and I doubt it is going over 3000 rpm. 5000 is supposed to be the upper limit. I will have to put a tach on it and see exactly what it turns.

Mine does not either, but I am going to put GM HEI ignition on it, and I think the hotter spark may help. Can't hurt! Mine takes a bit to start, and then needs to run for 2 minutes or so before it is fine and starts fast. But then remember, this is in COLD. I have run this when it was single digit temps!
