FYI, If you only use this on your property or on a golf course you will be fine. If like myself you take it off your property for recreational use, The homeowners policy does not cover that.

My insurance company provided a certificate of liability stating my golf cart is covered on and off premises including the campground my trailer is a seasonal at. It's a requirement of the campground.

If its street legal, at least for FL law, you need PIP insurance. Most insurance companies don't know how to write them apparently. Everyone I checked with wanted less than 100 a year for liability, property damage, etc. FL law states for golf carts, you must carry PIP or lose your license. Allstate wrote mine and made it work with the shortened VIN and its just like a car, about $400-450 every 6 months.
