Did you get a belt on it?

Yes I got a 45" belt like the one you showed me in your picture. The 41" the other guy just showed me would not go on. The 45" was tight but nothing like the 41". I have the same engine design that you have on yours. I have to unhook the oil pump and get the right mix in the gas tank to see how it will run. I just ran 2 laps around the yard but it felt like something was loose in the front end. It shook about half speed. Ran good at full throttle.

Check the alignment mine was toed out and liked to wonder. For the vibration check for wear on everything, perhaps a king pin or tie rod end or something. Not like these are fast enough for balance to be an issue.
I run 60:1 oil in mine. 128:1 is just too thin for me. They do that to limit smell on the golf course, it has nothing to do with engine life. Most 2 strokes are 50:1 so 60 is just fine. Ran mine with that all winter no issue.
Glad you got it running and found the right belt! Enjoy!
Tom

Thanks for the help Tom. It still has lots of problems. Does not want to run without feathering choke back and forth while driving. Could be old gas or carb needs clean. lot of work to do still. I will keep you posted on it. Just have to find the time to really get into it. It looks like the driven clutch may be out of balance or bent, But I have to get it the engine to run good so I can check everything else. I love a project.

Balance on the driven clutch is pretty much a non issue, bent on the other hand is! Mine had one of the sheaths cutting through the rivets, so I machined it for stainless steel button socket head screws, and on the ones with room on the back side, I put nylock nuts on them. That is every other one of the 6 that hold it. Seems to have done the trick.
I am more than happy to help you with any info I can.

This is a weird question. Should I be able to push my cart pretty easy. it almost feels like the the brakes are locked.

It should be fairly easy. Jack up the rear end and with both wheels off the ground, they should be able to spin easily.

It took me and my 14 year old so to push it 10 feet. That may be why I get the wobble when going half speed.
