robin engine eh35c hard to turn by hand
Rebuilt the engine now starter generator is to weak to turn over the motor also the engine is hard to turn by hand is this normal
The batery is new the brushes are ok If I hold the pedal and turn by hand it will rotate the engine but not fast |

I would try jumping the battery, maybe with the extra juice it will start and after running will loosen up.
Also did you try pulling the plugs and see if it turns over faster? |

Bearings were never changed only gaskets ,seals, piston rods,rings, valves,wrist pins,

Rod clearance to crank to tight or ring end gap not set and binding in the cylinders. I wouldn't attempt to start it until the problem is corrected and the engine turns free by hand.

Are you trying to turn the engine without the starter belt on?
