Motor advice
Ola, need some suggestions. I live in flat southern Florida and my 2015 club car precedent will only be driven on road. 48v, 3 inch lift, 14 in rims with low profile on road tires. Madjax 150 rear seat. Cart often carries 4 adults and a few kids.
I'm pretty much set on the madjax torque (navitas) 600a controller. I know it expensive but the on they fly controller will allow me to lock out kids / dumb family members quickly... So based on the fact that I'll have that controller, 2 gauge cables & new solenoid what motor would you guys recommend? I'd like to keep regen if at all possible. Pic of my work in progress attached... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Motor advice
I really like the Executioner from Plum Quick that I installed in my cart; it has been rock solid in my book....
BTW What's your tough ts on those rear seat armrest cushions? |

Thanks, will it still maintain regen?
Super easy, madjax set. They come with a template and you just need a midsized metal drill bit. Took 5 minutes; kids (and adults) love them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Are the armrest base wood or plastic and are they sturdy? |

Re: Motor advice
In South Florida I think you would be completely happy with a AMD 7144 motor and the stock Curtis controller. I would at least replace the motor first before spending a lot of money on a controller that you don't need. I forgot you would need a speed magnet if you want to go over 20 MPH

Re: Motor advice
check with David at Revolution Golf cars (site sponsor ) he got me a great price on the Madjax 600a controller, I like it for the same reasons you do and I have been talking to him about a motor as well and he advised me that the Admiral motors are very good. He can advise you on that combo motor and controller

Thank you; will definitely check with David...
Does anyone know if you can keep regen braking (and at least re charging) with any of these upgraded motors? I know plum quick says all regen braking is removed so I'll loose 1/3 of reason to have the madjax controller... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Motor advice
yes, you will have/keep regen braking with the Admiral motors and can adjust it using the OTF programmer , I'm pretty sure you would have it with a D&D and the AMD motors as well but I know you will have it with an Admiral motor.
