I actually have a plastic welder and I originally bought it from Amazon to fix a plastic fuel tank that you just could not get. It came with many different types of plastics and also had a adjustable heat output depending on the type of plastic. Very good intructions and to me it was worth the cost if I had only fixed that one tiny tank. It worked well but now I try to fix everything plastic lol, some work some dont but overall its nice to have around

Go to a marine parts/accessories shop...
they should have a universal fuel filler neck with a cap and flange for rivets or screws... with a gasket. cut the old neck off...rivet or screw on new filler neck in the same spot. Common use on hot rod builds and fabricated fuel cells... https://www.westmarine.com/search?Ntt=filler+neck |

Mine cracked around the neck and was fixed with JB Weld. No problems so far.
