Ground wire
I have a 2000 Club Car DS gas I want to make an extra ground is it okay to ground from the battery to the frame ? Thanks in advance

There should be already be a ground strap from the battery to the frame, and also from head to the front of the frame!
It won't hurt to add another if you wish! |

If it doesn't look good, you're already on the right track!
A standard automotive black/negative battery cable will work fine for that! |

Use new bolts (stainless if you can) ,nuts, and washers wherever your electrical connections attach to the aluminum frame. A good quality anti-corrosive (at least some grease) will also help to avoid the otherwise inevitable breakdown of the aluminum into corrosive salts from the reaction between dissimilar metals.
A real problem with these aluminum framed carts. |
