Cool G29 efi

My G29 EFI cuts out above above 4000rpm. I have changed fuel filter, fuel injector and tested fuel pressure. All linkages look good. There are no fault codes when I download. I am stumped where to go next.

Cuts out like sputters and misses, or turns off? Does it pick back up after engine slows?

Hesitates / sputters above 4000. It regains itself if I back off below 4000.
Fuel pump pressure is good (40psi), I tried a new electronic control unit and I ohm checked the sensors per the tech data. Throttle linkage is correct and fuel injector and fuel filter are new. I figure it is the scheduling of spark or fuel. I am thinking the crankshaft position sensor...which the engine needs to be removed to replace it according to the manual.

Is it supposed to rev above 4000 rpm?

I'm also wondering about rev limiter? Some limiters retard the timing to keep engine from exceeding limit (effectively killing power), others interrupt the ignition like a stutter box so it'll crackle and stumble and sound awful while up against the limiter. I'm referring to automotive and motorcycle. I have no idea if your cart has a rev limiter but since its EFI I'd say it would be completely logical that it would. A few lines of code in the ECU is cheap insurance to help ensure longevity of the engine.

Before you do anything more I would find out when the rev limiter kicks in. 4K seems like a reasonable number.

I have a feeling you have spent alot of time, money and effort trying to fix something that isnt broken.
