DS question - Rotation and Brand starter/gen

Hi Guys,

1. I have a Gas DS, Can you tell me by this number what year it is?

AG0701-715246

2. By determining the year, can you tell me the rotation of the starter?

3. Who or what site would you recommend to buy the starter from?

4. Can a bad solenoid ruin a starter, and should I get a new one of those as well?

2. I can't but I'm sure someone can.

3. I see a lot of people talking bad and regret buying knock-offs/ cheap ebay ones.

I believe most people go and have theres rebuilt, by local motor shop

4.again I'm sure someone could help with that

I called my local Club Car dealer and they wanted $376.00 for a new one.. Ouch!

Its an 2007 and the starter rotates clockwiseon the pully end

By the way.. I replaced the starter with an aftermarket brand and that seems to have fixed the problem.. It was from DB electrical.
