First let's check to see if the pump is working...
Pull the fuel line of the carb, does it pulse gas. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk |

Re: 2000 club car not running
Yup it will pulse it won't be a steady stream these things don't burn much fuel so if you have a decent amount coming out it should be fine

Re: 2000 club car not running
Good, you have fuel...
Run to auto zone grab carb cleaner and starter fluid... With everything reassembled and the cart in maintenance mode try starting the engine while spraying starter fluid around the carb.... Where the carb meets the engine and where the breather hose connects to the carb.. If the engine runs while doing that then you have a gasket leak If not it sounds like you have a carb issue.... I would stick to the original carb the cheap one are junk.. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk |

Re: 2000 club car not running
I feel that the fuel pump could do a better job fuel doesn’t pump out the best but it dose come the 2nd filter only is 1/4 full of fuel but maybe that’s normal
I tried spraying starter fluid in that plastic tube for hose and she poped right off and ran a bit also sounded like some back fire in the carb maybe too much starting fluid Sounds like rain tomorrow no farming then I’ll pull that new carb and look at gaskets what is everyone’s thoughts on gasket paper and cutting your own Thanks for all the advice from everyone |
