Snubber Mount
Replacing the engine tray snubber on my 2009 DS today.
It has a 6 inch lift kit. Should I flip the bolt on mount when I do the replacement so the tray sits a little closer to level? Thanks in advance |

Re: Snubber Mount
I don't see why you couldn't flip the mount upside down,
BUT... keep a close eye on the intake tube from the air box to the carb, hopefully it wont kink on the Electrical Components Box! |

Re: Snubber Mount
I'm gonna support the tray with a floor jack.
But the intake tube is my main concern. I'll get photos as the project progresses. |

Re: Snubber Mount
No need for pics.
The bolts will rub the crossmember. |

Re: Snubber Mount
I'm not sure how that's possible...
with the mount upside down, it should look something like this... (snubber not included in this pic) Snubber1.jpg |

Re: Snubber Mount
My bolt heads were almost touching. Which I'm sure would have created a rattle.
And when I let the floor jack down the tray didn't drop. |
