11 Precedent fuel issue
Hi all, had my cart out and after running a mile or so she started to sputter and die. Looked at the fuel filter and it was empty. Tried to restart in maintenance mode and the filter refilled when starting but I could see the filter run near empty again at higher rpm. Got back in and drove 1/2 mi and had no issues.. the filter still did not stay full. Filter is new...

Make sure the vent is working on the tank. Try removing the gas cap and see if it helps.
Make sure the pulse line is securely connected, and not obstructed with oil or anything. It should be clear and run uphill all the way from the motor to the fuel pump with no droops along the way. I had a DS I had put a FE350 in and experienced similar issues. Ended up putting in a new mikuni fuel pump and never had a problem again. |
