I do not believe this is the same as Andy's setup.

You contact andy via PM, or wait and let him find your post.

I dont think its a "switch on the fly" deal. You have to stop, shut it off, switch then restart. You should ask andy.

All chip changes have to have the cart turned off and placed in toe for the new setting to take effect. My harness allows you to do all this from the seat and not take anything apart of get off the cart.

You need to watch some of these dealers. They try to screw you out of $50 for a $2 plastic plug. Seems to be the norm these days. Shouldn't be more than $10 shipped.

Andy,

Do you have any details on your setup? I assume that you're just extending the J2 connector so you can put 2 SPST switches in a freely accessible spot?

How do you handle the TOW switch toggle for resetting the control unit?
I was thinking of adding a switch in series with the TOW switch, or even a relay.
If I add the relay in series with the TOW switch connections, I could key it off of the ignition key so I could switch peformance modes by flipping the connections on the J2 connector and turning the cart off and on again.

Is it a bad idea to toggle the TOW switch everytime you turn on/off the cart?

The major problm would be if the batteries wouldn't charge when the cart is in TOW mode (which would be the case in this example when you turn off the cart)?
Can anyone comment on this?

I can confirm that the batteries will charge regardless of any switch arrangement or configuration. Charging is direct to the pack and has no controller or other component dependance.
