Charger problem
can anyone help me figure out what to try next, when i got my golf cart which is a 1997 club car. the batteries were 2006 and not really maintaned and the fluid level was lo, so i topped off and plugged in and at first it charged and then i plu g charger in and it wouldnt kick on sometimes, it would kick on and go to like 3 instead of 15 or 20 wen it needed charged. so i go buy new batteries ang it still wopuld only go to 3 or 4 wen charging. now the charger wont come on at all but works on other golf carts just fine, what should i try i heard there is a charging board or something like that. if anyone can help i would very very much, appreciate it.

Re: Charger problem
Try this simple OBC bypass test.........
OBC bypass & Test = The black wire coming out of charge recepticle has a yellow fuse holder, open it up and connect a jumper from the end coming out of recepticle to the negative on Battery 6 or the last one in series. Plug in the charger if it comes on your OBC is most likely TOAST. |
