Battery light question

I have a 2007 cc precedent, soon after we start to ride the cart the battery light will come on. All the batteries were checked under load and checked out good, I was wondering if my charger may not be charging batteries to full charge, this is my first cart and was wondering what the normal ride time I could expect. Thanks in advance.

About 90-100 minutes of actual run time. Are you letting the charger finish and shut off by itself?

Yes every time we go to ride the charger is off so I assume the batteries are at full charge. I was thinking of installing a led battery meter on the cart do those work well? The cart seems to go dead quicker than I had imagined it would, but like I said I have never owned one so not really sure how long it should ride on full charge.

If the led isn't a good choice for the battery meter could someone point me in the right direction for getting one that works well. Thanks

Get an actual digital meter to view current voltage of your battery pack. ScottyB sells them and he's a vendor here on BGW!

First go get a digital meter U can use for testing batteries and trouble shooting other
problems, Lowe's, Harbor Freight , Automotive Parts store ...etc.
THIS is a MUST have for any Sparky owner !!!
Measure each battery and then the entire pack, and post results here .

Then after we get the problem Identified/solved U can install

I checked the batteries individually and they all checked 12.7, the overall pack checked 50.9

Just for grins, since OBC controls the charger and the light , try a OBC reset and see if it helps ?

I just rode for one hour the light come on when the batteries reached 48.5 volts so I guess everything is working correctly. I'm still interested in the battery meter so I will know how much riding I can do without cart going dead. If I go with the digital meter how low should you let the batteries get before putting cart on charge.
