1997 Electric DS 48V NO MOVEMENT
Hello All,
I've been given a 1997 Club Car Electric that has issues. It has no movement in any direction and I am pretty certain it is not a Regen. The cart will not go in any direction even when attempting to "Jump" the solenoid. I have aprox 7.5v across each battery and around 45V for the system. The black wire from the negative terminal on the charger does not go to ground after the fuse. Cart will not charge (known good charger will not activate.) Things i think are odd, i am reading 24 ish volts on the yellow wire to the solenoid when the red wire (positive side) from the batteries are DISCONNECTED. Model A9733 Any help would be appreciated. |

jj, It will help if you can identify your drive system. Toggle switch F&R = regen Lever F&R = series...

Re: 1997 Electric DS 48V NO MOVEMENT
The cart just has the handle no dash switch and no tow switch. As for the low voltage that would account for the charger not kicking on. I've jacked up the cart but I still see zero motion. I would think id see something?

Not really the charger for a 48 Volt system should come on if the voltage is 38 Volts or greater

Something clicks under the seat. The solenoid seems to be ok.
