Default Club Car Solenoid resistor or diode?

As some of you guys may remember, I had problems with my cart. I got it fixed (controller) but during the process I lost the resistor (could be diode) that runs from large post to large post on the solenoid.

Is that it a resistor? If so do I need it? (sure the answer is yes)

Does anyone have a part # for it?

Its a pre-charge resistor and CC part #1014947 ( this goes across large posts on solenoid )

On the same issue on mine, the resistor is black on both sides like it was overheated at one time.

Everything works, can I test it some how to see if its good?

Or what would happen if it was bad?
