Can someone tell me
Ok so i have a plum quick motor on my cart my doughters cart has a stock ge motor hers is as fast as mine , my cart is lfted hers is not ,i buy a stock ge motor and it runs almost as fast on my cart but torque is not there is the ge motor better ? 48 volt club car precedent both have speedy links..

I think your controllers are regulating your top speed. And you probably have a torque motor?

Its a pq bandit , and you are saying i need to upgrade my controller ? what speed would i get ?

Yours probably has more torque than hers though. Torque doesn't mean you'll gain top speed. Controller wont necessarily give you more speed either. If you put the larger tires on hers it'll probably fall flat on its face. It's virtually impossible to get everything, just a good happy medium.

Do a voltage drop test on both carts to see if your pack is holding the voltage up or not, if your voltage is dropping too low then the pack can't push the rpms and you could have a weak battery or bad cell in one or more batteries............. then check to see if the mcor switch is going 100%, if you wanted to see the difference between the two carts, you could swap the motors, I'm sure you have checked for dragging brakes, hot wires and or bad connection with your cables. |

i have done something similar i purchased the same ge motor and put on my lifted cart and was nearly the same . i will try the voltage drop idea , but on the other hand can the ge motors be built better than the amd motors ? looking for 30 mph
