Well, looks like you have found the problem. Makes sense now why the 45" belt would not work, clutch is engaged all the time. I dont know of a way to retract those pucks,springs while its on the vehicle, maybe someone else can help on that.

I spoke to the company that sold me the clutch and he sent me a new clutch.
when I compare the two clutches the new or second clutch opens about 3/8" more then the first clutch so mystery solved. Thanks every one for your input. Chuck |
