Default 83 Marathon Clutch Tuning

Anyone know of any tuning or mods I can do to the clutches on my 83 Marathon cart with the 2pg motor? Having a hard time finding clutch parts for this model. It has a comet clutch, similar to a snowmobile clutch... not the comet with the pucks. I have heard of shimming the clutches, does this work? What type of mods do I need to do to the clutches to make the cart idle? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Is this it, if so you can find hundreds of parts at snowmobile sites.
Yes it can be shimmed or flats can be sanded on the ramps to hold back engagement.

Looks similar.... what model of clutch is this? Also, how thick of shims do I need to put into the driven and drive clutches? Any idea of the spring rating in the primary clutch? Does anybody know of any other posts/ articles/ websites that discuss this type of clutch tuning? Also, any updates that can be done for the exhaust? Thanks!
