Default 2003 TXT with 295 carb question

Ok, Im and idiot. I was cleaning the carb and broke off the screw with the plastic stop/limiter on it. The one you can only turn about a quarter in either direction. It has moved since...its screwed itself in a bit and I can see the point of it sticking inside the carb opening...didnt see this before. I noticed in my parts book that this screw isnt available separately. Would this be contributing to it running crappy? I also noticed while cleaning the carb that the pilot jet is a #42 and the main jet is a #82...are these correct for that model (03 txt..lifted..governor adjusted)? Would a higher jet number help with power on hills and such? Im pretty new to the whole cart world...sorry for all the questions. I searched, but didnt see exactly what I was looking for...but saw that some of you are guru's. Thanks in advance.

Forgot to ask if this will work as a replacement for the broken screw:

No one? I just need to know what jets SHOULD be in a 2003 TXT...need a little bit more oomph for the hills. The only pilot jet the "ezgo" site has is a #50...will that work ok? As for the pilot screw/air idle screw, i think i have my answer. Any help is appreciated though. Thanks.

Im hoping not to have to go that route, but lets see as the weathers warms up a bit. It doesnt look like that screw I broke has a replacement out there..might have to try to back it out and cut a small slot in it...theres a little bit left on top, and maybe stake it at a point where it works. If I mess it up too bad then I'd have to get a new carb anyway. Thanks
