Default '83-Spring repairs done, simple questions remain

Just completed a fair amont of work on our '83. Everything appears to be running great.

Now for the stupid questions that I have after the repairs:

1 - There is a very thin tube approx. 4-5" long coming out of the carburetor. I can't see any place where this should go. It doesn't appear to be leaking gas, and motor seems to run fine, just feel like it should go somewhere.

2 - Oil. Can I change the oil on this thing. I feel kinda stupid. I looked all over for a dip-stick or filler cap, but couldn't find anything.

If its' a 2-cycle,the oil is in your fuel or in the Injection-Tank.2-cycles add fuel to the gas and it flows thru the lower-end to lubricate as it flows toward the cylinder to burn,If that makes sense. The hose is a vent,or if the hose is on the manifold, just before the cylinder,Its' the Oil-Injection hose if its' been disabled.Hope this helps.

Wow, I'm a moron. Of course it's a 2-cycle, hell it's got mixed gas in it. I have no idea what I was thinking when I asked about the oil :-) It's been out of commission for almost a year. Yeah, I'll use that as an excuse.....

Thanks for the reply.
