3 wheel ezgo golf cart.what year? changing trany fluid
Just bought my first golf cart.3 wheel 2cycle gas.serial numbers read.770216. T23933.would like to know what year it is. also need to know how to change the oil in the rear end.I located a rubber plug on the back and a Allen plug on the very top, but there is no drain plug.just the bolts holding the transmission cover on.any help at all would be great.thanks

You have to take the bolts out and pull the cover to drain. Clean all the silicone off of rearend and cover. Spread fresh silicone on rearend and cover then pull the rubber plug out and fill with either 80-90 gear oil or straight 30w motor oil.

The oil will run out of the plug hole when its full.

From the serial number it looks to be a 1977 marathon.

Cool! Now I know what I have incase I need parts.thanks to everyone for there help.I'm sure this won't be the last time I have a question.ill post a pic of it as soon as I figure out how. I paid 500 for the cart delivered.not sure if I got a deal or not but seemed worth it.
