Default 2pg rebuild kit...

Am I correct mines got a 2PG??? 84 Marathon. I have not checked compression but knowing what I do about 2-Smokes , I hear a lot of piston-slap going on. Runs great but it needs a freshen-up. Where can I source a top-end kit and crank-seals?? I did some searching here, and have seen posts but can't find them now............ Links please.

yes, yours is a 2PG - as to the sourcing, almost any decent cart shop will sell you one BUT from experience I would highly recommend that you ensure they actually STOCK them and aren't "drop-shipping" from another vendor - I recently had a defective (rusty cylinder, and I MEAN rusty) kit sent to me, I returned it almost 3 weeks ago and am STILL waiting for the credit to be posted to my Paypal (the vendor, whom I can't openly name as they are a sponsor here is telling me that they can't refund me until they ship the part(s) back to THEIR vendor and get credited, etc etc) ...
