Either your battery is dead or you have a bad voltage drop in a battery or starter cable.
What is your battery voltage while cranking?

Mine did that with my old lawn mower battery, even when it showed 12 volts. I just replaced it with my 800+ CCA battery and she cranks fast now.

i was using a battery out of my kia, witch i use daily. i didnt have a volt meter hooked up. but did have a battey charger on the battery while it was cranking, battery is abut 4 year old so i could get a new one. as for the battery cables there good excpet the ones that came from the key switch to the solenoid, they started burning.

Sounds like the battery is ok.. Give this a read http://www.delcoremy.com/Documents/d...ic-manual.aspx
down around page 3 is the cable tests, just crank the engine to use your starter as the carbon pile.

If you have an AMP clamp how about posting the current that the starter is drawing.
