I wouldn't waste $$$ buying new batts. Your readings are good enough for your trip. 50.9 = full charge, 50.4 after 5 miles is great! Enjoy your trip.

Just got home and got a voltage and specific gravity on these guys...
here they are for your viewing pleasure: 1. V=8.47 SG= 1.3 1.3 1.3 1.3 2. V=8.38 SG= 1.3 1.3 1.26 1.275 3. V=8.47 SG= 1.3 1.3 1.3 1.3 4. V=8.35 SG= 1.275 1.3 1.275 1.275 5. V=8.49 SG= 1.3 1.3 1.3 1.3 6. V=8.49 SG= 1.3 1.3 1.3 1.3 According to the chart I have been using, battery 2 is @ about 90% fully charged, battery 4 is @ about 80%, while the other four look darn close to 100%. How do these #'s look to the trained eye? Thanks again everyone for your time, Ryan |
