Default Lift kit choice

I have a 95 club car DS and trying to choose between the Jakes 6" Spindle lift kit that sells for around $300 and the Jakes 6" double A-arm kit that sells for just a little more. Most of my driving is off road. What should I choose?

The spindle lift is mostly just for looks and the a arm would be much better suited to actual off roading..

+1 on the Jake's Double A-arm lift kit. It might cost a little bit more, but it is really nice, great quality, installed easily even for me

PS> the rear end pic is out of date. I have since cleaned it up a lot, waiting for a Plumb Quick Bandit motor. The pic does show automotive shocks installed along with HD rear springs. It does right stiff, but I like it so far. Many BGW members remove some of the rear spring leafs, but I wll have to wait and see!

Thanks for the Pictures Xact1! That looks really good with the tires.
I am planning on getting the 6" version of that same lift. Not planning on replacing the wheels and tires in the near term, maybe later.

Mine is the Jake's Double A-arm 6 inch version. Very quality welds, everything bolts right up.
I chose not to use the stock rear shocks, and went with automotive style. By doing this I did not use the included shock extenders, I just found longer shocks that fit. Along with H/D rear springs, I got a much stiffer ride in the rear. However, I am not opposed to the ride at this point; I need to put a few miles on it before I decide. I can always remove one of the leaf springs if I want a different feel to the ride.
