Lubricate any brake components?

My cart is a 99 DS that has the self adjusting screw and gear. I just replaced the pads and springs and the breaks work great but I noticed that the mechanism on the inside of the drum (part that the brake cable lever attaches to) was somewhat greasy before I cleaned everything. When the brakes are engaged, it slides back and forth on a thin metal slide. I put everything back together dry with the exception of WD-40 on the threads of the self adjuster screw. Was I supposed to grease the surface of contact of the part I described above?

Should use dry moly grease I believe

Recently repaired a sticking brake pad on my 99 DS. It has grease on that same spot also. Don't know what type.

I use antiseize since its out anyway for the axle splines.
