Default Taking my batteries out

Any special considerations as to unhooking or storing my batteries as I work on my cart?

If it is a series cart, disconnect the positive and negative main leads. If its an IQ, do the same, but also flip run/tow switch to tow.
And also make sure cart is in the off position...

Ok, the batteries are out and on my garage floor. Is there a timeframe I need to work in to avoid them discharging and decreasing the life? I have 4X12v, so I want to make sure they last as long as possible. I dont plan on having them out more than a couple of weeks.

If the batteries are fully charged, they should be fine for only a couple of weeks.
If not, you may need to top each one off

Some say do not set the batteries directly on the concrete floor, place a board underneath them. I know this was true years ago, but with today's batteries I am not sure if it matters.

I do not think that holds true today with the new bat cases. At least according to the bat company I got mine from.

With today's plastic battery cases, this absolutely does not hold true.
It is fine to leave a battery sitting on any surface...
