Yeah, I'm thinking about trying to run my wires between the front cowl and cowl body panel to try to keep a clean look, but I am not sure if it's possible. I'm going to be building a headliner for some speakers and lighting.

I wanted to ask, on you diagram you are showing a solar panel. Which panel are you using and is it enough to keep your accessory battery charged and all of your accessoried running?

12v solar charger (eBay $22)
the solar charger came from a VW dealer and puts out 8-9v in direct sun (FL sun)
i have not had to hook battery to electric charger sense i got solar
a deep cycle battery would be best but had a free 12v laying around ..

i do not run solar when cart is on .. i put solar panel on roof when charging

i hooked up the solar charger through a power outlet in dash and use a Scottyb knock off meter/switch to monitor voltage

i have driven around 2 hours at night with lights and radio going with no problem

Would there be any problems leaving the panel in around the clock? That way I could charge the battery while I was out playing a round of golf. Also, If i wanted to hook a solar panel up "behind the scenes" instead of through the outlet, where would be the best place to hook it up? Anywhere?

yes on some models you can direct wire it to the battery or fuse block
here is the one i was going to use before i found mine

you could mount it to roof and run wires from there
