an EASY way......to make one from scratch would be a lot of work.....but possible, depending on how handy you are with electrical stuff. if you could find one for your cart, a premade one would most likely be in the $250 to $350 range.

whatever you do......label EVERYTHING as to where it goes to and from. as if you don't you will be sorry.

if you want to do this yourself........get a wiring diagram for your cart. write down all of the different colors. measure each size/color. then buy enough wire for each. and buy a "butt load" of connectors as well. spade connectors, ring connectors, etc.....

NOW, label all of the wires on your cart, both ends. disconnect each and every one very carefully. lay them all out.....and start making a new wire, one at a time, and label it as you do them so they match.

its a lot of work, but you need to be very methodical......you can either use the existing wire looms covers, if you even have them on your cart or you can buy it at nearly every decent auto parts store.

Find out what year models will work. I have a junk resistor Marathon out back that still has the throttle linkage on it. If its just the rod, I'd be willing to bet I can fab one up, if this one wont work. Would love to make a contribution to the "Christmas cart"!

I have spent 2 hours hunting this accelerator rod. I find gas but not electric.

A length of 5/16-24 threaded rod should do the job. You should be able to pick it up at the local hardware and any couplers or ? you need...
