Default Differential Removal

I have a 2005 36v EZ-GO TXT. About three years ago I had a slip differential put in and I think it has gone bad. What has to be removed to put the original back in. Does the motor or axles have to come out? Hopefully, it's as easy as removing the rear end cover and pulling the bad one out and replacing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
John

Both axles will have to be pulled and the rest is accessed by dropping the pan. Once you get that far it's pretty obvious and simple.

Thanks Scottyb. Are the axles easy to remove?

On page 3 of the linked thread, I have a step by step of how the rear end comes apart.

Guys,

The cart is fixed. It was as simple as replacing the brake hubs. Not near as painful as I originally thought. Thank you all for the help.
