Default 2014 Drive steering wheel adapter

I was told the steering wheel adapters are different for 2012 and up, but everybody only lists one adapter for Yamaha. Does anybody know where I can get a adapter for my 2014?

2014 steering wheel part number still starts with "jn4" prefix, that means it is the same wheel as the G14 era wheel. If it were new, it would start with a "jc0" prefix. There are no differences in the wheel itself, or splines themselves. Dealing with them everyday (new drives, not steering wheel adapters), i have noticed no difference. It should work.

cgtech have you seen any 2012 & up drives with aftermarket steering wheels?

I put a sport model steering wheel from a yamaha rhino on my 2013 drive. Fit with no problems at all.

Rhino is listed as taking the same adapter as 2011 & down drive. Maybe the column cover changed in 2012 and the adapter won't clear it but a yamaha steering wheel will, I don't know!

Nothing changed in the steering column on my 09 drive and my new 13 drive. Same steering wheel.

No, but you can compare new and old factory parts here. This is where i was comparing parts earlier. http://www.yamahagolfcar.com/partsan.../default.aspx# . I really dont think there is any difference in steering column or steering wheel.

I changed mine out on my '14 drive to the Yamaha branded small sport wheel. It came with the adapter.

Specularius, was that a 3 or 5 hole adapter?
