Plastic rivets
Is there an easy way to remove the plastic rivets on the g9? I've pulled on a few and it feels like the heads would rather pop off then pull the rivet out.

Take a small punch and tap the center pin out first. Then pull the rivet out.

I think they are basically one use 'christmas trees' types. I don't think these have a center pin like a drive rivet.

Yep, they do pop in, if the center thing gets lost, the rivet is worthless tho.

NAPA has an excellent assortment of the plastic rivets if you need more. I usually go through and replace those tree type with reusable ones.
