atv shocks on the rear
MY g16 rubs with the jakes 6" lift and 23" tires when I hit a big bump. I know alot of you told me to get heavier springs but I was wondering why cant I just use longer atv shocks from a utility to gain a little more lift? I measured my stock ones at 12.5" so I would either need a 19.5" shocks to gain 1" or I found a few around 16.5" and I would just make the mounts. I figure they are the same weight but I wonder if those with independent rear shocks would be valved too light or too heavy?

Re: atv shocks on the rear
Longer shocks sounds good to me, especially if the spring weight were adjustable. I am assuming you would be going all the way around the cart and not just adding to the rear? You may have to adjust the stabilizer bar in the rear as well as add wheel spacers in the front depending on how much further you raised your suspension.

Just get a cut off wheel and trim the front and back where it rubs

Re: atv shocks on the rear
Yes I already have the jakes longtravel kit on it. Wanna remove the back bar and stock shocks and replace them with just longer shocks. And no I dont want to trim it as its rubbing th emudflaps right off and I want them on there.
