They are very bright and have never had a failure but they are on carts.
I also do repairs/maintenance on heavy equipment and couldn't tell you honestly if they would hold up under that type of jarring or vibration.
For that price grab a couple and give'um a test drive.
Looking at the options, not only different length, brightness but 24V available also.
