Best of luck to you and your better half.
I always suggest getting a second or third opinion and deal with someone who specializes in your situation.🙏🏻 |

Re: Homeless
The dr who will be performing the surgery is rated in the top 5 of the world. I have a friend who went thru the same thing and has a clean bill of health, as in no more cancer, he used the same dr. So I know I am in good hands. Home base will be near the little town of Ider, AL.

Re: Homeless
When it rains it pours! I havent even made thru my first surgery and now I have to have a second one while recovering from the first one. Artery on the left side of my kneck is over 70% blocked. Happy Valentines Day. Yep, that is when they will be opening the artery and cleaning it out. The new place is is in shape for the wife to handle everything while I recover. Just a few litlle things that I can do while recovering. Like painting some trim, etc. I know I am going to be so stir crazy just setting and doing nothing so I am saving a few things I can do. Limited to 10 lbs lifting for 8 weeks.

Re: Homeless
Good luck and sending prayers for a speedy recovery. Glad they found out about blockage before something happened. Sometimes what seems like bad news is actually a blessing. Use your time recovering on planning your next adventure!

Re: Homeless
Hate to hear this and you definitely have my continued prayers. You've had a rough time with all this but you continue to stay positive and push forward which is good.
I pray these surgeons will have steady hands, wisdom, and knowledge. And, that you can have a speed recovery. |

Re: Homeless
I recently had my 8 week check up from surgery 1. I was told at my 1 week checkup tht they got all the cancer, well that changed at my 8 week check up. So I have not run the complete course yet. Probably looking at radiation treatment. So continued prayers are very wekcome.
