How hot should the solenoid get?
Just upgraded motor controller solenoid and cables on my EZ-GO. After riding I noticed the solenoid was getting pretty warm. I can touch it, but it is really warm. All other wires, to and from controller and to motor are not warm at all. Is it ok

Re: How hot should the solenoid get?
What you upgraded everything but the solenoid. If it's where you can touch it just keep using it until it quits. Then buy a heavy duty one. That's what I'm doing on my 36 upgraded to 48 volts anyway.

Sorry missed that, to early in the morning. I would think it's OK. You may want to look for a replacement though and have it handy. Which one is it by the way.
