Default tow switch

Wife ran the batt down on her 97 EZGO DCS and got a tow across town without flipping the tow switch. What did she burn up? Did the 7 point check and all voltages check ok.

Hard to say for sure right now. Did you charge the batteries back up? Does the cart try to go? Solenoid clicking?

Batteries at 38 volts and the solenoid clicks, smells like it has been hot in the control box. B+ wire looks like it got hot at the controller.

Probably cooked the controller. It was trying to stop the cart while it was being towed!

Unfortunately this is likely what happened. The DCS Curtis control was the Achilles heel of the drive system. IT best now to update the cart with an XCT400DCS control and HD solenoid. You will enjoy new power and speed
