Steering "play" or lash
Is there a way to tighten up and remove some of the 'play' in the steering?
I'd like to see if there is a way to take some of the 'slop' out of the steering. I'd guess that right now I have about 1.5 to 2.0 inches of rotation of the steering wheel before the tires start to pivot. Henri |

Re: Steering "play" or lash
If it is the one listed in your post (2004) I would say it is time to go over the entire front end and replace any worn parts. It's 12 years old.

Re: Steering "play" or lash
The steering wheel moves clockwise/counterclockwise about 1.5" to 2" before the tires begin to move....
