Also note, the relay actually says 240vac on the side of it. Odd since the part number is the 48vdc one.

Are they interchangeable?

This is an example with quick connectors:
https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail...AENZrAmmiTg%3d
The 2 small 3/16" tabs get connected to each of the incoming AC power wires (white and black).

The 1/4" N.C. tab gets connected to the +48v (or whatever voltage you are using with your pack) power source.

The 1/4" COM tab gets connected to the key switch.

The 1/4" N.O. tab is unused.

No suppression diode should be used with the relay since it is AC.

Edit: The 240vAC note You see refers to the relay contacts, not the activation coil.

Default Onboard Charger Killswitch

What about this part
https://www.amazon.com/American-Zett...s=120vac+relay

Wired like this?

I think your description neglected the charger but maybe I misinterpreted it as well

I was thinking the charger would be always plugged to the pack and the relay would only disable the cart, but I guess you have reason to believe it can provide a parasitic drain when not plugged to AC?

The green and blue lines are confusing on the coil contacts and they should not be there, but Yes, Your description is correct.

So that charger has a 5 amp output, how many AH is your lithium pack?

Default Onboard Charger Killswitch

Correct. Not really “reason the believe” but more playing it safe.

Battery is made up of 10 Nissan Leaf packs. Each pack is 2 lithium cells. 2 sets of 5 packs in parallel and the end result is 10s2p lithium pack. Comes out to around 135ah. lithium is about 90% efficient vs FLA at 45%. Estimated FLA equivalent of 270ah

Edit: 58ah each not 65ah. Final result is 112ah and a FLA equivalent of about 232ah

I’ve gone about 16 miles on the current charge and I’m sitting at 39.9v I’m running it down to 38v which is the minimum just to dial in my new voltmeter in the dash.

Regardless, my cart wouldn’t be running without you man. That F/R switch is the best functional upgrade!!
