Star 6 passenger cart with air problem

Working on a 6 passenger Star AP-48-06,has doors with air conditioning,has two sets of batteries,6-8 volt and 8-6 volt, was told the 6 - 8 volt set only works the air conditioner,and the other set is for the drive train. Question: is this a 48 volt cart? Or does it run off both sets of battery packs ? It's having trouble with run time,batteries are 2018,just replaced 1 of the 2 chargers on board...

According to the specifications on the Star web site, it is a 48v cart with an AC motor. Doors and air conditioning are optional packages.
(looks like a Ford Think clone to me)

I have only seen the AC units on the Star 12 Pass buses. I believe it would be safe to say that one pack is for the AC unit and the other operates everything else. they were both 72v systems on the buses.

look at the soc, Star carts usually have it noted as 48v on the meter.

Having problem with air now,no power to roof top a/c unit,will be checking wiring,
Question now,it has a online solenoid, why? What does this do being on a/c batteries only...
