2010 Tomberlin Emerge 48v New Batteries Draining to quick
Hey gang, i need some help. My 2010 Tomberlin 48v seems to not last very long on a full charge. I noticed this on my last set of batteries so figured it was time to replace them. Well new batteries still don’t last very long. Fully charged i am showing 50.4 volts. Each battery appears to have good voltage. Could the motor be draining the batteries? I am lost. Btw, not showing and controller fault issues. Battery connections and all cables seem to be good with no corrosion. Please help me!

What does it mean " last not very long " , what battery brand / model? Your pack voltage is only about 90% SOC! Do you use a good charger with the correct charging profile?

Re: 2010 Tomberlin Emerge 48v New Batteries Drain to quick
What i mean not lasting long is i only get about 10 miles on a full charge, if that. I have a onboard Delta q charger. These are the batteries i just put in. Interstate Batteries. GC8 Deep Cycle Heavy Duty GC8-HCL-UTL. 117mins @ 56 amps. 170Ah @ 20 hrs.
Not sure if the charge needs to be reset however it completes a full cycle charge. |

I understand. New batteries need some time to get their full capacity ( 20 - 100 charging cycles ). Further important to know, your Interstate batteries needs the correct charging profile ( 71 ). It has to be set in the Delta Q charger.

Was this ever figured out. I have the same cart, same charger, different new batteries and having the same issue with battery charge not lasting long enough.
Everything tight, corrosion free. But seems some cables do get a bit warm.. any help would be appreciated |

Just an FYI, those are known for the front brakes to have calipers that don't fully release causing brake drag.
