![]() I need more torque for my hunting cart and have narrowed the choices to 2. Having never used either of the motors ( Beast or Stealth Stalker ) I had a few real world questions . Which of the 2 is the most quiet ? My Raptor is very noisy compaired to stock. Which company has a longer lasting motor in equal conditions ? I cant afford to lose hunting time or money to blown up motors. My cart is a '95 fleet with 6" lift and 22" Mudbusters for hunting and 25" maxxis for everyday. 36v with hd bussbars soilenoid and wires. And last an alltrax 650 to power it . Thanks for any advice and or suggestions. Mike

![]() What other items are on your cart?
Upgraded controller? 4 gauge cable set?? Current motor??? There are many options to look at, but jumping straight into a motor with nothing else isn't the route I would suggest... |

![]() Here we go . I fixed my signature and in addition to i have 4 ga wires and all the HD buss bars and solinoid . Any thing else i need to add ??
Also i usually hunt with 22" Mudbusters for traction reasons not the 25's. The Raptor isn't real big on torque but it WILL sling some mud ! Thanks Mike |

![]() Isn't the raptor motor a speed motor? Hopefully some of the Sparkie experts will be here shortly...

![]() Yep .......thus my need for a torque motor. I was told when i bought it used it would be just fine for what I do and the one guy that told me it wouldn't work had no idea what he was talking about. I will run 20 ++ up an incline but repeated use on the hills here and where we hunt took its toll on my wires. They have begun to get hot enough to burn off the heatshrink. Thanks Mike

![]() Do you still have your stock motor? If you do, just put it back in and I'll bet you'll be very happy!

![]() It's not in the box the raptor came in therefore it could be anywhere in the 40' sea container we filled when we moved here. The stock one had a lot of trouble climbing some of the hills at the lease in north Mississippi. The Raptor had more power than the stock motor hands down. It climbed easier and faster up one hill with a large 11 pt that I thought i would have to Fred Flintstone up empty with the stocker ! Now reality has set in and I have come to terms with the fact that without EMT ,power and speed can't be had with the same set up. Torque has won out and now we will fix the power problem. Mike

![]() I have the D&D Stealth Stalker on mine and it will give you all the torque you need. Low amp draw as well.... 5 years no problems.

![]() It is stealth quiet. The torque is immediate requiring very little pedal. It is also good for down hill braking if placed in reverse. The case on the motor is very big. It almost rubs on my driver side rear shock.
