Default 1999 TXT Electic Service & Parts Manual - Not clear which to download

I've seen the link in the sticky to get me to the Jacobsen manuals that are online. I see several manuals listed for different TXT models (like DCS, ECS and PDS) but I'm not clear which one I need for my 1999 TXT 36V. I'd like to have one available for reference, will need to work on this thing I'm sure in the spring (it came with our house and needs some work).

I'm also looking for some parts diagrams, I'm thinking they might be in there as well. We have a couple of roof frame rails, a plastic roof and a windshield, would like to see all the hardware I'm missing so I can try to put that on.

Thanks!

Ken

Welcometo BGW!

Your '99 could be a Series cart or a DCS cart. If it has a Run/Tow toggle switch on the controller cover it is a DCS cart. If it has a long steel rod attached to the F/R actuator running to an assembly under the passenger seat it is a Series cart.

Awesomely quick response and thanks for the welcome!

I have a forward reverse switch just under the seat, no Run/Tow toggle. So it sounds like I have a Series cart, I'll pull down that manual.

Thanks

I'm definitely good with pictures and stuff, once I start digging into it I'm guessing I'll have some other questions (like I know I need to figure out the 12V converter for the headlights one of these days, there are some wires disconnected and other issues).

I like to dig in and having a manual is good, but I'll get stuck and when I do I'll be back with pictures!

And actually, looking at the manuals list on that site, I don't see anything called "series". I'm on the Fleet Golf Cart pull-down.

I'm going to go ahead and pull down the Service Repair Manual, there's only one listed there and it may be what I need? Does Series = PDS or one of the other acronyms?

pds and series are two diifferent animals. if you have the cart , just download everything you can find. try the 28646-go1 manual. go to top of the ezgo gas tech section if haven't already done so. go the top and you find tech-scroll to the stars .

Yea, I pulled a few down and I have totally enough to go on for what I'm doing at this point. I think I already identified all of the hardware I need to get the top back on. And it cleared up a couple of wiring things I was wondering about.

Thanks all!

Typically, a Fleet cart is a Series cart. DCS or PDS are the upgrade (more expensive) carts.
