Re: My Golf Cart Adventures in Modding
i recently picked up the front end off a 1991 yamaha banshee
plus a set of tires for the same machine the front had the disc brakes and calipers still on them i am going to go back to this guy and try to get the frame for cheap so that i can mount this new suspension on my golf cart more easily |

Re: My Golf Cart Adventures in Modding
heres some pics of the front dash
the paint doesn't look that great b/c my brother accidentally knocked it over into some sand while the paint was drying the battery meter on left turns on with the radio which is the middle toggle switch the key switch is simply on-off and below that is a push button switch to trigger the starter solenoid the blue toggle switch on the right of the toggle switches glows blue when flicked up i used this switch for the headlights the other black toggle switch on the left side of the toggle switches is a switch that tells my RZR wiring system that my foot is on the brake, this is necessary for starting the RZR motor the radio pictured on the far right is a sony with a cd player built in and audio jack input on the rear for ipods and such, i rescued this radio from a boat at my cabin that didn't get used that much |

Re: My Golf Cart Adventures in Modding
i got the frame to the yamaha banshee so that it will be easier for me to mount this new suspension on my golf cart and it will allow me to keep the stock geometry
i will have find a way to get the disc brakes working so that i have the extra stopping power i'm up at my cabin this for a week or so, so i will just have to wait to get back to the cart i will post some pics as i get the front installed on the cart |

Re: My Golf Cart Adventures in Modding
My thread originally started as me modding my two golf carts but i have decided to leave the 1989 EZGO Marathon pretty much stock except for the headlights, radio, and horn on the front.
However the 1984 marathon that i have been working on is getting almost all my attention at the moment and am waiting on more parts to show up. I have decided to start a new thread about the 1984 b/c this thread has seemed to have gone dead and i would like for others to see what im doing new thread will be called: RZR "S" 800 engine in an 1984 EZ-GO Marathon |
